For my Ten Year Narrative assignment, I chose the multinational conglomerate 3M (Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing). My interest in 3M stems from an internship experience I had with them in the summer of 2023, where I saw first-hand many of the unique business strategies 3M employed as they navigated a challenging time in the company’s history.
In this portfolio, I share my findings after completing an extensive research process to learn more about 3M. Using the section headings above, you can navigate through the portfolio to learn more about 3M’s overall history, the industries and arenas in which 3M competes, the valuable resources and capabilities that help 3M compete, an overview of recent history from 2019-2024, and some future projections for the company.
